This isn't exactly taco related but it effects my life significantly.
Del Taco has discontinued the small red and green burritos. They still have the 1/2 pound bean and cheese burrito on the menu but it's just not the same.
A little part of me has died. Thanks Del Taco

The website still has the small burritos but both the highland and santa monica blvd and venice and national del tacos no longer sell them. If anyone find a del taco that still has them let me know
Growing up in Corona, Del Taco has been a fixture forever (whatever happened to the bean cups?). The 1/2 bean and cheese are getting smaller, so I don't feel too bad. Jeez, I miss Naugles, though....

reports coming in from del taco's as far and wide as hawthorne and riverside....the small bean burritos are no more.

ReplyDeletei work at del taco and for a short time we did discontinue the small b/c burritos but they are back but we dont advertise them any more. you have to ask for the small one . and all because we have the key doent mean we can use it,when we press it it would say invalid choice.

I called Del Taco to complain, and they said they would still sell it, it just won't be on the menu. The regional manager actually called me back from the Highland and Santa Monica store and said he was adding the key to the cash register and speaking w/ the general store manager @ selling the small red burrito at that location. Thank god my long nightmare is over! The large red burrito has too many beans!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I definitely grew up with Del Taco in Lake Elsinore. All about the Macho Beef burrito(I personally just eat it with a fork) and the deluxe chill cheddar fries.
